Unity Software acquires SyncSketch productivity and collaboration software

Unity Software has acquired SyncSketck productivity and collaboration software.

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

SyncSketch was founded 2016 and the Startup is based in California. The company’s software targets artists, animators, and VFX professionals and is a real-time visual communication tool aiming at facilitating collaboration on assets. SyncSketch supports 2D, 3D and video.

Its clientbase includes Frontier and Activision Blizzard. Among many others.

In its announcement, Unity said it’s on a mission to “enable creativity anywhere and on any device,”.

“With this acquisition, we are doubling down on productivity tools for the Unity creator community,” the company said.
