Today Ubisoft announced that it will be ending the development of first-person shooter Hyper Scape and will shut the title down on April 28. The Company announced this in an official press release on their website.
Ubisoft’s statement didn’t provide a reason as to why it was ending the title’s development and shutting it down.
Originally released in 2020, Hyper Scape is a multiplatform battle royale game where up to 100 player can compete to be number.
“We set out to create a vertical, close-quarters, and fast-paced shooter experience and we are extremely grateful to our community for joining us on our journey,” the company said.
“We will be taking key learnings from this game into future products.”
