It appears that not everybody in the gaming Community is excited about NFT. The Steam Community just recently began to downvote Poppy Playtime by developer MOB Games after the Company added NFT’s to the Game.
We just browsed the comments and found mostly negative mentions of NFT in the Poppy Playtime reviews.
Steam recently also banned NFT games from their platform so its unknown how the developers were able to introduce the NFTs to begin with.
On Twitter Gamers are calling for others to downvote and even ask users to refund the game. It is possible that these moves lead to a ban of the game.
Poppy Playtime devs still went with the nfts despite the insane backlash and tweet deletion.

It is possible that the game will be removed from the Platform entirely. We will keep you posted.
While the Game’s reviews are still overwhelmingly positive it is hard to overlook the increase in negative reviews over the last few days since the Developer added the NFTs to the Game. While a lot gets reported about the positive impact of NFTs for Game Developers it appears that not all Gamers are too excited about them. In the end they are the ones that Developers need to keep engaged. We will keep you posted abut further developments.
