Meta Quest Gaming event is set for April

The next Meta Quest Gaming Showcase is all set for next month. Meta announced the details of the event’s “when” and “where” on Wednesday. As of now, the company is keeping the surprise on what games are going to be featured at the event.

VR gaming fans might still be more familiar with the event’s former name, “Oculus Gaming Showcase.” As many of you know, when Facebook changed its name to Meta, it also dropped the Oculus brand for its VR products. That led to the renaming of the annual presentation as the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase.

This year, the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase takes place on Wednesday, April 20, at 10 a.m. PT. The event will be streamed on various channels, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and Oculus TV. Fans can also RSVP and follow future updates through its official Facebook Events page.

Unfortunately, Meta did not provide any clue on what games are going to be presented at the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase or how long the event would run.

As for the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase next month, the official blog post mentions that there will be “new game announcements, gameplay first-looks, updates on games coming in the next year.” Meanwhile, the Facebook Events page also indicates there will be updates about “launches” and “sequels.”
